iPod rules in the Malibu Beach Inn resort - overkill

You can come with you own iPod Touch (or iPhone), or the resort will loan you one, but at the Malibu Beach, the iPod is the key to all activities. Thanks to a special application, guests can order room service, setup a “do not disturb”, shop and more. That seems overkill because it probably is – unless you’re a non-English speaker who’s looking at a translated version of the software (I’m not sure that this actually exists). What about you? Are you excited by this?
