Kent Displays will be causing a stir with a couple of new technologies set to rock the world of consumer electronics in 2009 – with a fairly entry-level monochrome electronic writing tablet that features a pressure sensitive display, while the second would be a color-changing electronic skin. Known as the eGo (for obvious reasons), this electronic skin does not require a single drop of juice at all in order to maintain the current color, so unless you’re that fickle minded and need to change the external color every few seconds, your battery life will go virtually unaffected. This is a neat way to kiss goodbye to external cases, although third party accessory manufacturers might not be too happy with it.
