
Hate the boot up times on your notebook? Well, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10e now wears the distinction of being the first netbook to feature “instant on” technology known as Splashtop, and it will be rebranded as Lenovo QuickStart instead. It would be interesting to see which other netbook manufacturers will continue from here, but something tells us that it won’t be long before the rest start to follow suit. After all, the whole idea of a netbook is being able to get to work swiftly no matter where you are, and boot up times are but a waste of precious seconds (or minutes).
