Microsoft Releases Windows 7 Pre-beta

Microsoft took advantage of the Professional Developers Conference by dropping its pre-beta release of Windows 7, and some of its spanking new Web applications for Office were paraded as well. It seems as though the crowd was not disappointed as they had a peek at lightweight versions of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote which could be accessed via a standard web browser. Guess Microsoft is going on a warpath against Google, here’s hoping they pose a decent challenge to that us consumers win out with the best products on offer available.
