What you see above is a much clearer image of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Kate which will oust the existing K750, ushering in a new candybar handset that sports a 5 megapixel camera to live up to its CyberShot name. This 5 megapixel camera will be accompanied by a Xenon flash, making it worthy of its pedigree and is tipped to feature HSDPA connectivity on top of standard GSM/EDGE fare. No GPS on this handset though, so you might not want to put off getting a portable GPS navigation system just yet if you don’t have one already. Word has it the Sony Ericsson Kate will be announced at the end of this month, so stay tuned.
