Netflix video streaming to come on TIVO

Upcoming TIVO boxes will be able to stream movies and shows from Netflix’s Watch Instantly library that contains 12000 or so movies and shows. With its 800,000 subscribers that are connected to broadband internet, TIVO can generate some appeal for hardware makers. Samsung has already inked a deal to make its next-gen Blu-Ray players compatible with Netflix’s streaming services. I have been using them on my PC and to be honest it’s OK. The quality is sub-DVD and sometimes the network is quite slow (it’s no vudu), but it’s cheap and that’s a good trick to watch a TV show or an old movie.
