Nokia isn’t happy to be where it is at the moment, and will be rolling out a new Supernova handset, also known as the 7100s by its model number. This slider clearly resembles the Nokia 6710, although it won’t be as pricey and will sacrifice a few features in the process. Expect to find the following in the 7100s Supernova.
- Symbian S40 operating system
- QVGA TFT display with 262k colors
- Tri-band GSM/EDGE (900/1800/1900) connectivity
- Built-in FM Radio
- Music Playback
- Bluetooth 2.0 & USB 2.0 connectivity
- Opera Mini browser
- Flash Lite 2.1.1 support
- 1.3 megapixel camera
- microSD memory card slot
There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
