Normally, we get newer technology crammed into older hardware, but this time round we have the opposite – an Xbox 360 containing the innards of an old school Apple PowerBook G4. If you happen to have an spare Xbox 360 shell lying around, why not check out this mod? It is powered by an 867MHz G4 processor and comes with a 60GB hard drive, although the Xbox 360′s DVD tray has been rendered useless, an Apple Combo drive has been thrown into the console for good measure, requiring its side to be cut in order to access it. The entire system can be powered by a rechargeable battery, but I don’t think you’d venture too far from a power outlet for too long a time with this.
