RED is prepping itself to release its updated Epic and Scarlet cameras this November 13th, and this update will include new incredible programs for both video cameras, although there will be many disbelievers who think that the refresh is a scam. The original Epic and Scarlet rolled out earlier this April as 5K and 3K resolution video cameras respectively, retailing from $3,000 upwards, so hopefully this hardware and software refresh will be able to see users extract a greater level of performance out of it.
