Robotic Plants Emit Oxygen

What happens after an apocalyptic nuclear war? Chances are there won’t be any sunlight at all due to the dust kicked up, virtually causing plants to die as they won’t be able to perform the photosynthesis process, providing vital oxygen for the atmosphere. Fear not – the Chonnam National University has developed a robotic plant that is able to emit not only life-giving oxygen, but moisture as well. Each time the robotic plant detects a person nearby, it will bend towards the human and bloom, shaking in response to vocal stimuli. The robot is also able to respond to music and light, although both would be missing with the nuclear-torn earth in tatters. At least there’ll be some decent air to breathe, assuming it survives whatever fallout from the war.
