
Samsung has demonstrated its new working e-paper display that is the first in the world to use carbon nanotubes. Measurinig 14.3″ insize, this is one of the largest e-paper displays available at this point in time, and what makes this energy efficient prototype special is doing away with the need for any backlight even when you’re under direct sunlight. Dubbed the color active matrix electrophoretic display (EPD), it will target mobile electronics as the main market of choice.
