Samsung has a variety of displays at the International Meeting on Information Display (IMID) 2008 held in Korea, with one of the main stars coming in the form of a 40″ LCD TV as depicted above – measuring a mere 7.9mm thin. That’s really slim no matter how you look at it, and would definitely fit in nicely with any modern home. Other displays include a 15″ Blue Phase mode LCD panel, a 14.3″ color electronic paper and a 4.3″ plastic LCD driven by amorphous Si TFT. Guess all these beauties will take some time before they arrive in consumers’ homes, and the starting price is going to be anything but cheap.
