Seagate, the largest hard drive maker in the world will be stepping into SSD territory from next year onwards, targeting large enterprise customers first followed by everyday users like you and I. Their main challenge is to convince enterprise customers that SSDs are not only safe but reliable, and we all know that most people are resistant to change when the current setup works fine enough (such as reliable hard drives). Well, seeing one mor major player in the market is a good thing for consumers since that would mean lowered prices for everyone else.
