Sharp has decided that it would win the screen resolution war, at least temporarily. Its new handset, the Aquos Fulltouch is a touch phone with a big 3.8″, 1024×480 pixels display. Now we can talk about movie quality. That’s not it, it has a physical sliding keyboard too, although not a QWERTY one, which is a bit dumb, since a touch screen is really good at emulating a numeric pad. This beats the HTC Touch HD screen resolution. Wow! There’s no word on how smart this phone actually is. By the look of the user interface, my hopes are low.
