What you see here is the first HSDPA/TD-SCDMA cell phone from ZTE, better known as the U990. Relying on HSDPA, the U990 is able to hit a data transfer rate of 2.8Mbps which ain’t half bad although there are phones that could do much better elsewhere. The TD-SCDMA network, which is a rising star in China, is limited to China only so this would mean the U990 will work best when the user is based in that country and not elsewhere. Other features include Windows Mobile 6.0 as the operating system, a touch screen interface and A-GPS. No idea on pricing of this seemingly slider handset.
