Things don’t look good for our friends at Detroit, but that doesn’t mean they’ll just keel over and give up the good fight. Nice to see some creativity involved when it comes to marketing their vehicles, with Chrysler announcing a “Web edition” package that features a whole host of Internet-capable gizmos which are connected to an Autonet Mobile router known as Chrysler uConnect Web. The entire collection comprises of :-
- Dell Mini 9 netbook
- 8GB iPod Touch
- Sony PSP
- Digital camera with an Eye-Fi Wi-Fi SD card
All those can be yours for $1,999, which comprises of a whole year of service. We’re not sure whether this will help revive flagging auto sales at Detroit, but at least it is a start.
