Co-Robot Is Cheap And Good

Cheap and good aren’t two words that find themselves intertwined too often, but with the Co-Robot from Japan, that’s the conclusion we’ve come to. It relies on just a single motor and a wobbly gear-drive system to move about while keeping costs low, so don’t expect to get Honda ASIMO smoothness here. The Co-Robot actually hobbles more than walk, but boasts mechanical sensors that know whenever it falls over, so he is able to pick himself up and start moving again. That’s something we humans can learn – no matter how many times we’ve fallen in life, we can always choose to brush the dust off our knees at get up once again. The Co-Robot comes with a trio of operation modes – walking, dancing and somersaulting, retailing for just $29.95 each.
