All it costs is $125 for add a WWAN solution to your Mini 9 without having to go through the hassles of driver downloads or tech support calls. Folks who activate their built in AT&T with a new two year AT&T DataConnect Service plan are entitled to a $120 mail-in rebate. The Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Internal Mini-card is designed by Ericsson and features :-
- HSDPA (7.2 Mbps downlink)
- HSUPA (2.0 Mbps uplink)
- Tri-band HSDPA/WCDMA at 850/1900/2100 MHz
- Quad-band EDGE/GPRS at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
Bear in mind this is no After Point of Sale solution, so those who already own a Mini 9, well, you’re out of luck.
