Dmedia System has released its G400 WiMAX MID, and while there aren’t too many details available at this point in time, it looks set to make a splash next year (hopefully at CES 2009, too). Features of the G400 include :-
- 3.8″/4.3″ touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution
- Bluetooth support
- WiMAX connectivity
- Integrated HSPDA/WCDMA
- GPS navigation
- microSD memory card slot
A 1400mAh battery powers the G400, and it looks set to settle down under the consumer internet device or portable media player niche compared to a MID. There is no word on pricing as at press time.
