Fujitsu is proud to to bring yet another LifeBook to the masses in the form of the N7010. This model looks like an ordinary notebook at first until you realize that there is a secondary 4″ touch screen display that runs concurrently with the main 16″ screen. This is meant to offer users a new method to control media playback as well as launch applications of their choice without choking up the main display. You will be able to gain access to Windows’ Quick Launch icons or play content in Windows Media Player via the secondary touch screen display. This mid-range media-centric notebook will also come with the following specifications :-
- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz processor
- 4GB RAM
- 320GB hard drive
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 video card
- 16:9 aspect ratio and 1,366 x 768 resolution display
- HDMI output
Prices start from $1,499 upwards as the LifeBook N7010 hits the markets next week. We wonder whether placing the secondary touch screen display on the outside with Sideshow thrown in would be the better choice? [Press Release]
