The iPhone is primarily a communications tool, but that doesn’t mean it cannot be used for entertainment purposes as well. One of the first few FPS to hit the iPhone would by Hill Billy, relying on the Mahatma graphics engine to deliver a silky smooth gaming experience. Full normal mapping lighting It looks like bump mapping is used, and the graphics are quite good, to say the least. Hill Billy uses the built-in accelerometer to control your movement in the game, but that could result in a less accurate environment – a huge no-no where FPS games are concerned.
