JVC Unveils TV With PVR Capability

JVC is a household name when it comes to consumer electronics, and they have just released their maiden DE9 Series TV which features a built-in TV recorder, allowing you to capture all your favorite shows even when you’re not at home for your viewing pleasure later. The 160GB hard drive within might not make the cut for some, but if you can’t even clear up 160GB of recorded shows, chances are you’ll lack the time to finish up all the recordings on a 500GB hard drive. Inside, one will find a couple of Freeview tuners, letting you record one programme while watching another simultaneously. Features include a full week’s worth of Electronic Programming Guide, a trio of HDMI sockets, a couple of SCART connectors, component input and digital audio out. The high-end 32″ JVC LT-32DE9 will retail for £520.
