LG is pretty ambitious even with most of the world entering recession next year – the Korean company has plans to roll out at least 125 new cell phones worldwide next year. This is insane – imagine getting at least 12 new handsets to choose from each month, averaging to three new models per week. Hopefully all of them will do well, otherwise it would mean kissing goodbye to money lost on R&D unless the majority of these new phones will rely on recycled technology. It will be interesting to see whether quality or quantity wins out.
