Where digital video recorders are concerned, at least. The Marlin SpyPen hides a digital video camera as well as an extremely sensitive hidden microphone that has a recording radius of up to 15 feet, allowing you to “accidentally” leave your pen in a room on purpose just to find out later whether your mother-in-law really hates you or not. The Marlin SpyPen is able to record video in AVI format, although the 2GB/4GB internal memory is rather limited when it comes to storing video. All video is recorded in 300k resolution. The Marlin SpyPen will come in 2GB and 4GB configurations, retailing for £39.99 and £49.99, respectively.
