Microsoft Announces Windows 7

Windows 7 has just been announced by Microsoft, and this Vista-based operating system is touted to offer the following :-

• Improved user interface
• Improved networking features
• Support for touch gestures
• Internet Explorer 8 browser
• Device Stage for connected devices
• More customizable and personlization options

I wonder just how many versions of Windows 7 will be available to further confuse consumers though, since Microsoft did mention that there will even be a netbook version. Nuts!
