Word on the grapevine has it that there will be a new Nikon D400 in the works, and these whispers include a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor from Sony. If this rumor were to be true, that would mean you had best start checking the balance of your bank account right now to make sure you have enough to bring one of these bad boys home – without the missus’ knowledge, of course. We’re rooting for High Definition video recording on the D400 as found in the D90. Should Nikon fail to announce the D400 in December, chances are pretty good it will make its way in time for PMA 2009.
