
The netbook market will not be touched by both NVIDIA and VIA, so Intel can breathe easy at this point in time. Both companies have inked a deal earlier this year in April, and would have seen VIA’s C7 and Nano processors work in tandem with NVIDIA’s MCP79 processor (better known as the GeForce 9400M). This chipset first made its debut when Apple rolled out their newest range of MacBooks, which could possibly threaten Intel’s position where slower and integrated graphics accelerators from Intel are concerned.
