Parrot Offers Bluetooth Hands-free Kits

Driving while talking on a cell phone is a big no-no for obvious reasons, and Parrot aims to help you out with a couple of new iPod- and iPhone-compatible Bluetooth hands-free car kits. The MKi9100 and MKi9200 will share Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP connectivity, an external double microphone for conversations and giving commands, a RF remote which can be placed in the car, phone and music controls, an iPod Dock Connector, as well as USB and 3.5mm inputs. The less advanced MKi9100 will come with a two-line OLED display which shows off phone status, phonebook, and caller ID information, while the MKi9200 has a 2.4″ color TFT display that shows off caller picture ID, a full playlist, and album art display. The Parrot MKi9100 and MKi9200 kits will be out before the year is over, retailing for $250 and $300, respectively.
