Hot news – Roku’s Netflix player will be able to handle High Definition content before the year is over, featuring a tweaked interface that will accommodate all those additional pixels. Streaming will operate on a lower bitrate compared to the Xbox, which means it is good for areas with poor download speeds, although some sacrifices will have to be made where quality is concerned. Rumor also has it that Roku developers are currently hard at work on a major new feature that will supposedly throw in a “wow” factor to subscribers, we’re waiting with bated breath. Good news for folks who do not own an Xbox 360 or subscribe to an Xbox Live account.
