Samsung is at the forefront of consumer LCD display technology yet again with the widescreen 2342BWX LCD monitor. This 23″ model will see a maximum resolution of 2,046 x 1,152 compared to the standard 1,920 x 1,080 which is pretty common these days. The additional space it touted to be able to fit another two letter-sized documents side-by-side, leaving enough space for sidebars as well as other vertical elements in an operating system. Other features include a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1 and a 5ms gray-to-gray pixel response time. The Samsung 2342BWX LCD monitor will hit Korea for roughly $295, with yet unannounced international releases to come.
