SanDisk has just introduced more memory into its Sansa Clip portable media player by doubling its maximum capacity to 8GB from the previous 4GB. Other than the memory upgrade, the rest of the hardware remains the same, including the tiny color OLED display, rechargeable battery with 15 hour playback time, support for MP3, WMA and WAV audio formats, DRM-compatibility, integrated microphone, built-in FM radio and a removable clip for easy portability. The SanDisk Sansa Clip 8GB will be out later this week for $99.99. Each purchase is accompanied by a pair of earphones and a USB cable.
