The G1 handset isn’t exactly the most handsome smartphone in the market, but we think that purists would prefer function over form any day. Well, hopefully the same goes to the Dream G2 from Sciphone of China – this Android-powered handset is tipped to be available on the 28th of this month with the following features :-
- EDGE data (bah!)
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- 4 megapixel camera with autofocus
- 50MB internal memory
- microSD/SDHC memory card slot
- Integrated FM radio
- QVGA display
There does not seem to be a physical keyboard available, so it will be interesting to see whether the Dream G2 is as its namesake, or will it turn out to be a nightmare instead.
