Seagate makes the headlines yet again with new additions to its Momentus hard drive range, this time round with the 5400RPM Momentus 5400 FDE.3, featuring 8MB of cache while coming in 160GB and 320GB flavors. As for the Momentus 7200 FDE, this model will come in similar capacities although the cache will be doubled, while spinning at a much faster rate of 7200 RPM. Seagate is currently working on 500GB capacity models for both lines, and all of them will also feature onboard AES encryption that will not cause negative performance in boot times and overall performance.
