Sony Ericsson is out with a new product – the Wireless Home Audio System. Unfortunately for those living Stateside, it will only be available in the UK. Features include a monochrome OLED display with touch controls (everything seems to come with touch controls these days), synchronizing itself with selected Sony Ericsson devices to stream audio via Bluetooth A2DP and AVRCP. This turns your paired cell phone into a remote control. The Wireless Home Audio System measures roughly 8″ in diameter and comes with a 2.1 speaker system, playing audio via FM or a connected device on its 3.5mm headphone jack whenever you aren’t hooked up to the phone. There is no word on pricing as at press time, but the MBS-900 could possibly be imported from next year onwards.
