Talk about diminishing returns – the Speed Fit human-powered treadmill system allows you to run in place on a stationary platform, although it comes with a technological caveat – your movement will power a small electric powered gear system underneath that actually moves the entire Speed Fit. Granted, this works best with flat terrain, and if you wanted to go places in the first place when exercising, why not leave the treadmill and hit the pavement itself?
