Target Gift Card Snaps Pictures Now

Gift cards are just that, gift cards, right? Apparently not, as Target ushers in a new gift card that throws in the functionality of a digital camera as well. You won’t get lovely pictures with this though, since it comes with a mere 8MB of memory that can store around 50 images on average, so go figure out just how low the resolution is. Each gift card has a $50 value inside, and can be topped up once the value inside runs out. You will also get 40 free prints (chances are from Target themselves), but don’t expect these to turn out pretty compared to even a cell phone camera. The Target Gift Card is powered by a couple of AAA batteries and comes with a self-timer to capture your own portrait, with a USB connector to hook up with your computer to transfer images.
