Fancy upgrading your notebook or netbook to one which features a touch screen display? Well, that is now possible with the 4-wire, resistive panel display which is compatible with the Acer Aspire One and Eee PC 900/901 netbooks. It comes with Mac, Linux and Windows drivers, and installation looks like a snap. It will be interesting to see just how the performance of this $96 panel is like, which can already bring home 1/4 of a decent netbook. If you aren’t convinced, get a real tablet PC instead.
