Vudu claims to have 'the largest HD library in existence'

Vudu just announced that they have more than 1000 HD titles on their on-demand service. Although it’s pretty hard to track, they may be right: there’s less than 1000 Blu-Ray titles on the market as of late (non official stats). Vudu had been working its magic or maybe it’s just faster to compress and deliver online instead of manufacturing the discs… If you’re not familiar with what vudu is, check our vudu review.

Note that vudu’s HDX movies are 1080p/24fps, while previous “HD” version might be in 1080i resolution. Vudu is one of the potential candidate for our People’s Choice by the way. Votes are still underway.
