
[Web 2.0] During the Web 2.0 Opening sessions, the investment made by Google.org were discussed on stage. The interesting question was whether or not Google would invest in a competing (search) technology. The answer is that Google.org “needs to make money from its investments” and that there’s a “Chinese Wall” between Google and Google.org’s investments. This implies that Google (the corporation) should not interfere with the investment decisions from Google.org. What’s your take?
