Here’s an interesting project – the Nintendo Wiimote has just been hacked, with a trackball included to help life be infinitely easier when it comes to selecting weapons in an FPS instead of the D-Pad. With the inclusion of a trackball, it will allow you to navigate the D-Pad without requiring you to move your hand down just to give the trackball a holler. It seems that this trackball hack is able to be used with any console, and the brains behind it are working on similar projects that comprise of the PSP and its slim brethren, the Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PS3.
