The Amtek T10L 10.2″ Tablet will be on the CES show floor in January. The only unknown at this point is the cost, which should be low, given that it runs on components used by many $400 computers. Among the components, there an Intel Atom CPU and the accompanying 945GSE chipset (that controls the motherboard). The interest for such a platform mainly depends on the software that goes with it, and at the moment, XP Tablet edition seems to be the closest thing that Amtek would have. In the meantime, there could be a small market for niche applications like inventory and things like that.
