Ben Heck is one of the foremost names when it comes to console modding, and his latest foray involves the Xbox 360 (yet again). This time round, Ben has turned this hulk of a home console into a more portable format, aptly dubbed the Xbox 360 Portable. It is different from his past Xbox 360 laptops in several aspects include :-
- Removable standard Xbox 360 hard drive for easy profile/data swapping
- Accessible memory card slots
- No keyboard
- Simplified layout of ports and buttons.
- Internal Wi-Fi module without external antenna
- Beveled edges and countersunk screws for a smoother look
With a full-sized Xbox 360 hard drive, this unit is approximately 0.5″ thicker compared to past models. This guy is just pure genius. What are some of your favorite console hacks?
