China Mobile Working On Own Phone

China Mobile does not want to miss out on making its own smartphone, and this model will be powered by an operating system based on the Android OS and will work over their very own TD-SCDMA network. This new device has been dubbed the Onephone – hopefully it will cost a dollar, too, but who am I kidding? It will apparently be similar to the iPhone in concept, and Lenovo has a very good chance of being the hardware manufacturer. Well, as long as the battery in this smartphone doesn’t spontaneously combust while one is having a conversation, count us in.
