More news about the elusive Garmin Nuvifone – the FCC has just approved it, and we await with bated breath for its impending release sometime next year, and hopefully for not too long a period. After all, it was supposed to roll out sometime this year but its entry was delayed due to numerous factors. FCC documents do point the Nuvifone’s code name as Calf, with ASUStek Computer being its manufacturer. So far, tests were carried out across 3G networks in the frequency bands of 1900 MHz and 850 MHz. Too bad there aren’t further details such as a user’s manual, external and internal pictures due to confidentiality requirements.
