FCC Approves Samsung Memoir

Samsung’s Memoir has just been given the nod of approval by the FCC, so you can expect the 8 megapixel camera phone market to heat up when it arrives at retail stores. It will be made available from T-Mobile for folks living Stateside, and is also known as the Samsung SGH-T929 if you’re into model numbers instead of fancy nicknames. Features of the Samsung Memoir differ slightly from the Samsung Pixon, and they include :-

  • 8 megapixel autofocus camera
  • Touchscreen display
  • A-GPS navigation
  • Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity

Word on the street has it that the Samsung Memoir will be available from February next year from T-Mobile, making this a suitable (and expensive, no doubt) Valentine’s Day gift.
