The FCC have just gotten their mitts on the Flaik GPS tracking system, which means it ought to hit the market pretty soon lest all the snow melts. This GPS tracking system targets skiers who spend more time than they should on the slopes, allowing one to send their current location to a base location just in case they get lost. Or buried under an avalanche. Hopefully the exterior is tough enough to make sure its innards remain intact even after a rough-and-tumble session downhill, preserving the internal SIM card, a rather large battery and an integrated GPS receiver.
