Fujitsu LifeBook U820 Gets AT&T Broadband Connect

Folks who have been hankering after the Fujitsu LifeBook U820 now have greater reason to rejoice – it is now available with integrated HSDPA thanks to AT&T BroadbandConnect. There will be a couple of 3G-enabled versions available, where the $1,199 model will run on Windows Vista Home Premium while the Vista Business version retails for $1,449. There’s one drawback though for those who are trying to find ways to cut costs these days – both models must come with a 120GB hard drive option, whereas its non-3G counterpart can hold a smaller 60GB hard drive. Guess this means 64GB SSDs cannot be included either. Those who pick up the 3G-enabled U820 will be able to enjoy benefits such as :-

  • Two-year warranty extension
  • 8GB flash drive
  • 2GB Creative Zen Mozaic (pink or black colors)

$,199 sounds like a bargain considering the warranty extension alone will cost $180.
