
Apple’s announcement that it would not participate in future MacWorld Expo shows prompted the demise of Apple Expo, a similar show held in Paris, France. Once the largest Apple-oriented event in the world, the show has steadily shrunk down in size. Apple has been participating to less and less shows, most likely because the return on investment (ROI) isn’t worth the expense. Apple believes that they have better ways to putting the word out and they are most likely right. Of course, it’s hard to compute that kind of stuff, but there is one way to know for sure: cut it and see what happens.
