
Gateway’s latest netbook, the LT1001G is said to resemble the Acer Aspire One but that comes as no surprise since Acer gobbled up Gateway last year, so seeing shared resources in the development of hardware can be expected, family resemblance and all. Expect customary specifications including an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Wi-Fi connectivity to come with the LT1001G. As for pricing, expect it to fall somewhere in the medium netbook range that won’t break the bank, no matter how bleak the economic situation is now.
