While Apple is pushing for its iPhone to be a serious gaming platform, the very fact that the device lacks physical inputs could hamper the veracity of its claim. With the iControlPad, things could change though as this iPhone case has just entered production. What you see above is the final prototype, and the final version will be black in color to complement the iPhone. There is no word on availability or pricing as at press time, so hopefully Apple will offer the iControlPad the support it deserves if the iPhone were to be a serious gaming platform.
